Trailer for Xbox Indie game of physics-based gerbil demolition. Buildings formed of gerbils await destruction for your amusement using a variety of demolition tools. Use bombs, ropes and disintegrators across 24 levels of gerbil mayhem including the "terrifying" Iron Gerbils. No gerbils were hurt during the making of this game. Or video.

  • I have this game, and it's great. I only wish a level creator was available. That would make it even better.

  • @HARVESTERFTW, glad you liked it! A level editor would be fun, its true, but we use an external editor and it would be a lot of effort to move that to the Xbox and make it robust enough for general use. Btw, there is a sequel to Gerbil Physics (probably called Gerbil Physics Episode 2) coming out soon that has lots of more levels, new weapons, and a slightly more "platformy" feel to it.

  • Gosh, this game reminds me of another one I've played... identical gameplay. Don't remember what it was called, though. >.<

  • i loved your game - it´s cute, it´s brutal and it has gerbils and physics. the only thing it´s missing is attention as far as i can tell. i hope i can change that a little - uploading the review right now. :-)

  • The background looks like maplestory

  • Lol, yes you are right. Of course it is more fun to actually get the wipeouts rather than have them taken away. Thanks ledomira, I'll look at how to better allow wipeouts for more or all levels.

  • It might be a fault, but it was a pleasant fault. It felt awesome to see the little display that says I got all of the wipeouts, and then to get a few more even when I wasn't supposed to be able to. Ultimately though, I don't think it's a fault because I was able to get wipeout on those levels and the game recognized that I performed the necessary actions to get wipeouts and acted accordingly. In fact, if I did what was necessary to get wipeouts and I didn't get them, I would be upset.

  • Thanks for the info ledomira, this is going to take some investigation on my part to find out why wipeouts are available even when they shouldn't be! Sounds like a fault. I appreciate the feedback, thanks again.

  • @BeringelaXNA I've played throught the game again with your advice and gotten wipeouts on all but four levels. I think I even got wipeouts on some levels that I wasn't even supposed to be able to get them. The only levels I haven't gotten them on are: 13, 15, 20, and 22. I think it might still be possible to do it on 13.

  • @ledomira, I've posted a video reponse above that shows how to do it (could not post link here for some reason)
