Hitler's Children: Dedication 4 of 5

This great five-volume series, by Guido Knopp, examines the naivete of German youths in the 1930's and 1940's. This is the only documentary I have seen that focuses on the way the Nazis used children to conduct their war.

In this second volume of the series, we are given a glimpse into how the Nazis were able to simultaneously discount women as mere baby factories and employ their youth and energy to the benefit of the Reich. The League of German Girls was formed to ensure that young ladies understood, and performed, their duties as bearers of Aryan heirs. Later, these young women were also enlisted to assist directly in the fighting of the war.

She does make a point they felt like they were doing this because it had been done to them. The Treaty basically tore Germany down to nothing, how would you feel like that? Wouldn't you want something done to them like they did to you?

I'm not saying this is right in any way I'm just pointing that fact that in some way she is telling the truth.

german children weren't more naive like children of other countries. So you better should write in you videodescription how the nazis abused childish couriosity, fascination,enthusiasm and excitement in a time of poverty and depression!

This would be a more propper and fair description.
