Nice horn. He was doing about 60-70 mph, not the full 80 mph.

wats pathetic is, the MBTA bilevels only reach speeds of 88mph yet they want to get amtrak's HHP-8's when the ACS-64's come out doesn't make sense to me

MBTA should put ATS on all of their trains.

That was definitely 80MPH - the fastest the MBTA can run its trains on the NEC
The video quality came out pretty good, and there was some good horn there too. Maybe try uploading in HQ (a higher bitrate) so the video quality is better on youtube.

What happened to the parking lot behind the platform on outbound side of the Providence line? Was it being reconstructed?

They were installing concrete ties and ripping the wood ties from the side track next to the Parking lot. I think they use the that side track to get CSX trucks onto the rails easier? Anyways the parking lot was not touched they were only working on the side track next to the outbound track
