Mr. Swamy raises questions over educational qualifications & nationality of Sonia & Rahul Gandhi & which are well supported by prima facie evidences with him. The country must investigate about these allegations, Do these (Pseudo) gandhies deserve the treatment Indians give them. I certainly have my doubts. Why can't there be somebody other then gandhies a congress leader. How long this sycophancy prevail.

@2760427 Rahul is a citizen & Dr. Swamy doesn't deny it but he has to renounce the Italian citizenship which he aquired naturally. India doesn't legalize dual citizenship. Hence if Rahul doesn't renounce Italian citizenship he can not be legally Indian Citizen. He still carries Italian Passport (along with Indian Passport) & travel on the same to many places which is absolutely illegal.

Rahul Gandhi doesn't have to really renounce his italian citizenship to become a citizen of India because he is a citizen of India by birth, and not by descent. Maybe Mr. Swami is getting into it a little too much. Please spend some time reading the citizenship law.

Citizenship by birth Any person born in India, on or after 26 January 1950 & prior to July 1987 is citizen of India by birth. Born in India after 1 July 1987 is an Indian if either parent was a citizen of India at birth time. Those born in India after 3 December 2004 are citizens of India only if both or ONE parents are citizens of India.
