  • Who is the announcer and for what channel?

  • God, I think they edited this video, I remember seeing a similar video of the opening of the 68 games and you could see a bunch of doves flying startled into the flames and catching fire, I guess they didn't want that be shown, overall kind of retro to see the opening of those games... specially since 10 days before there was a horrendous massacre in Mexico City!

  • And it had nothing to do with us ruling half of Africa, all of the Indian subcontinent, and most of South East Asia? You're right -- the US's global dominance HAS spread the use of English -- maybe to the Phillipines and Mexico -- but WE did most of the hard work decades earlier through conquering and civilising countries and teaching the locals English. The Yanks are JohnnyComeLatelies !

  • the truth is that its global because English is one or maybe the most easy learning language because is very simple on vocabulary and on grammar. And well it has to do somehow also with the importance and influence US had at a time

  • Cool Vid

  • Well, I did Google, and you're right, Swine Flu did originate in the US. Also, I don't understand what you mean when you say

"yo know why is a global language because they arent capable of learnig onother language." If we Brits aren't capable of learning another language, that does not, in any way, how exactly does that translate to English being a global language? English is a global language because once, our Empire covered 1/3 of the global land mass. It's as simple as that, Spiko.

  • Viva Mexico!!!!

  • So, you're a "white supremacist" who takes offense at the Japanese being disparaged. I think they call that an "oxymoron." That is about as inconsistent a statement as I've ever heard. Also, the reason the Germans couldn't perfect jet propulsion is that they didn't have enough time to do so. We (you Yanks were absent from this mission) were too busy destroying the German army research base at Peenemunde in 1943 to allow them to perfect their long range rockets. We had to, out of necessity.

  • You make the cause seem like one big childish endeavor and make it difficult for true white supremacist like myself to fulfill our hopes and dreams. Idiot skinheads and rednecks are a disgrace to the white race. Why don't you use your vigor for something good and go to college and study your hide off in order to truly do good to the cause and not let us fall behind.

  • You know their are whites outside of the US right? like in Mejico. Moreover, to innovate means to improve upon as if for the first time whereas invent is to create. Germans did advance jet propulsion technology but that doesn't mean they perfected it. The Japanese were part of the Axis, so I don't see the point in disparaging them. There have been significant contributions from "non-whites" in the past. What is your definition of a "white" person. As a white person, I can't believe we're related
