Ever wonder where Mike Myers got the idea for the theme from Austin Powers? This cheap game show aired in Canada from 1974 to 1989. Here is act 1 of a typical episode.

  • I figure ronnie corbett was also the model for austin powers' look

  • lol, I remember watching this when I was a kid.

  • the announcer heard here dave devall is a canadian broadcasting legend...his telestrator weather drawings on cfto will never be forgotten...

  • @booboo900 You could appear in up to 5 episodes, which was the standard on most game shows.

  • R.I.P. Pat Marsden

  • @jon1156 ,not anymore

  • I remember this show as a kid:)

  • It's funny, the theme was such a cheesy cover, but as soon as I heard Dream Warriors sample it for 'My Definition of Boombastic Style' and Mike Myers use it for AP, it made me think of this show that I spent many (wasted?) hours watching.

  • the biggest celebrity i ever remember seeing on this show was the guy who played "Barickza" on CHiPs. guess they couldnt land Ponch or Baker.

  • sure you were, u were too young.
