This video, They Did Not Have to Die, was produced by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Center Task Force on Social Justice for Public Safety in Albuquerque, NM. The video provides the first hand stories of six of the 13 families whose loved ones were killed by the Albuquerque Police Department between January 2010 and June 2011. The video's Call to Action is to request a U.S. Department of Justice investigation in order to correct the abusive APD police practices and, ultimately, to ensure a safer Albuquerque community in which to live. If you have comments on this video, please comment at www.facebook.com/mlkmc.nm. Your financial support for this effort is greatly appreciated. Produced by www.Avistavideo.com.

They are out there to bully and shoot people. Further, it's pretty clear they are pussies.

This loss of lives is unfortunate but these officers are out there every day putting their lives on the line for us. This video does not show the other side of the story and from my research all if not most of these shootings were either because the person was carrying a weapon or acted like they had a weapon in hand. APD is trained to use deadly force when they feel their lives or the lives of people around them are in danger. The other side of the story needs to be told.

Check this out. 10-2-1-16 NMSA 1978, is a STATUTE that is supposed to hold our PUBLIC SERVANT'S (law enforcement) ACCOUNTABLE AND RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL ACTIONS. If they knew they need to be "bonded" but didn't, that's INCOMPETENCE, and shouldn't be a PUBLIC SERVANT and if they DO KNOW that they need to be bonded and didn't, then get out of being a PUBLIC SERVANT. We have a right to keep and bear arms and to defend ourselves against those foreign and DOMESTIC! It's not JUSTICE its JUST US!
