  • best version of this classic ,,love it ...

  • Trombonist/vocalist Jack Teagarden was certainly an all-time great, right up there close to Louis Armstrong. It was a real honor to get to do an album with him. Van Alexander was the conductor/ arranger. Besides myself on piano, some of the other musicians were: Charlie Teagarden on trumpet., Gus Bivona on clarinet, Eddie Miller on tenor sax and Nick Fatool, drums.

  • many great artists have performed this classic , but BIG T'S rendition is still the best in my humble opinion

  • @chkjns This sounds more like a later 50s recording and definitely isn't the earlier original. Still good tough.

  • just discovered him!!!! awesome, jazz, blues, whatever you want to call it, it's great music

  • I'm 17 years old and I love this song!

  • Is this from the "THIS IS TEAGARDEN" Album?

  • @frankbinggene Profile says you're 110 - I guess you WOULD remember when this song first came out in 1934! My channel is about the best music of the 20th Century. 700 playlists covereing over 400 artists, 100 genres & every year since 1900. Added this to 1934, 'tho it must be a bit more recent, it doesn't sound too far off the mid-30s. Hope you stop by. chuck

  • It is not 'a very land.'

    It is 'a fairy land.'

  • wow
