Dov Charney is a total creep. Anyone can tell by going on the website that the pictures completely sexulize women who look younger and younger as the clothes get scantier and scantier. Not only that, but the purposeful lack of makeup makes them seem as if they were "innocently" caught off guard in spread eagle or what have you.

For most of branded cigarette history, they would show an attractive female with business man. I love how you just come out with some random factoid without even checking the facts. Cigarettes use attractive women too..anyways not the point. Companies have the right to represent themselves accordingly. Ethically speaking, to fire someone for not meeting an attractive standard is pretty fucked up. But they have the legal right as an employer to hire who they so choose to.

@haggardjf Nope, cigarettes are the ugliest product out there, they use gnarled old cowboys to sell them, along with cartoon camels. It's all about the marketing baby. This brand needs a facelift.

Fact is, Dov is the rich CEO that calls the shots. He knows how business works, and part of the psychology of business is attracting people to your product. It's called visual association, you see an attractive person selling the clothes, you then feel as though you are attractive for buying these clothes. Dov doesn't have to look good because he's the one running the show. Do I agree with his business ethic, no, but he has some sort of oddball plan to stay afloat.
