  • Ive got that harmonica.. Sadly I dont play on it as much as I should.

Thanks for great vids. You and Jason Ricci's vids are my youtube favorites!

    Greetings from Norway!

  • That's a very nice compliment! Thanks!

  • Hey,

I like very much how you play, sounds good!

Where do you get this harmonica? I would be interested in buy one but I cannot find on internet, but I live in Europe, you think I can get in a misic shop?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the compliment! I bought this harp from a guy named Didi Neumann a few years ago, but I think they have since been discontinued. You could always retune a harp to the Spanish tuning, but this requires some time, as well as replacing the 10 draw reed, because you can't retune 10 draw to the correct note - you must replace that reed. Hope this helps.

  • You should pay more because tle little tiem you play i like it a lot.Just one more question spanish tuned means that is in the key of F?

  • Thanks for your compliment. As for this harmonica, it really isn't labeled in a particular key. I think it only comes in one key (at least I haven't seen them in other keys). If you base it on the draw chord, it would be the key of E. Of course, you could always take a regular harp & make it a Spanish tuned harp, but this my also require a few reeds to be replaced. There are also videos on YouTube that show you how to change out individual reeds. This is a fun tuning.

  • @aerofil where did you find it. i have been searching but am unable to locate one. -A. West-

  • Try "Malaguena" on that tuning. The "Spanish Tuning" may have been the only factory tuned Hohner diatonic that was also fully chromatic with ordinary draw bends.

  • very nice haha my grandpa taught himself how to play the harmonica with nothing but his ears. (on my moms side cause shes filipino and my grandpa was proud of being partial spanish)

  • You will get more views, Keep up the great work.

  • dude awsome video, you should add more tags to your vid. to get the view you deserve

  • Yeah I play these quite a lot.I first used one in the band Break in The Clouds to go from the E minor to flamenco scale. You can play blues on them as well-they are very chromatic and most notes are available by draw bending. There are actually two versions of similar tunings both called "Spanish"
