  • Nice. So the stock instrument cluster didn't have a tach but the stock wiring connected and with the new cluster you now have a tach correct?

  • @mmz77 Correct. I had the base non-tach XL cluster. It is mostly plug&play. You will still have to visit the dealership to get the dome lights and alerts to work.

  • where did you those guage clusters o and by the way kick ass truck

  • @trevor9671 Thanks! It has changed alot since this video, I will make an updated one soon. I bought them off of ebay for around $150. Search for FX2 or FX4 gauges. Install is easy. If you want the detailed instructions just let me know!

  • Please respond! i need seat covers very badly. where did you get yours and what did they cost you?

  • @TacticalGA Hi! I bought these seat covers off of ebay. They are made by a company in California called Iggeeseatcovers (Ebay seller ID: Iggeeseatcovers). They have just about any color combo you could want! I bought mine to match the colors of the truck. They do get a tad pricey. I believe my 2 seats was close to $150 and the console was $50. But you pay for the fit. Everyone SWEARS I have leather two-tone seats but in fact they just fit so good! Almost 2 years later they are holding up good.

  • Carl Edwards hell yeah

  • Pretty kick ass truck man! I have a 2005 XL, is it possible to install the sliding rear window on one of those?

  • @992bm Not at all! The pain is to find a FX4 or FX2 cluster with your mileage (or close to it). If you don't find one with close mileage you have to go through all this paper work and send the cluster off to get the odometer mileage changed (easily close to $400). Installation is really easy. After you install it you will still have to take the truck to a dealership to get you truck information programmed into the cluster so that everything works properly (door ajar light, interior lights).

  • oh I know I want to do a intake edge programmer and dual exhaust. That will wake up the truck and a brush guard. I like the fx4 gauges was that a pain to do
