@clikityclak - Agree on "Those suspenders kick ass" (Dragonfly). In England we say.... "Those braces are the dogs bollocks"...OR... "Those braces are ****ing minted"! Or words to that effect!! :)
@clikityclak - It's a great upload but doesn't mention Danny at all. Some music fans have never heard of Danny Kirwan so his fans cite these facts now and then to give credit where credit's due. It was a beautiful musical pairing but in Peter's words they "didn't get on". It didn't stop them making some of the best music heard to man.
I dont really see the need to point out who wrote this song.. simply because Danny needed Peter just like Peter needed Danny, kindred spirits that brought out inner beauty and sensativity through music and friendship :)
From what I´ve heard this is actually more a Danny Kirwan instrumental, which Peter Green only helped to finish. Most of the lead parts in this song are also Danny´s.
Peter, I met you at Goddard College in Plainfield Vt. in 1970 and jammed with you in the "music room as we were passing the wine laced with brown mesc. Remember that night with Rick Wright and Jon Winter? You stayed with Albert from Typhon and my name was Wahpoose. Please man, don't ever forget about our Lord Jesus,because I know after hearing "In The Skies", that you had a born-again experience. Christ Lives!
@MusicalTree3

When asked if he composed this song with Danny Peter said, "No, that was all Danny's. That's a great song, I really like that one a lot".

Peter the Great. The Green God.
Better than Clapton as far as I'm concerned.
Had no equal.
