Digital Recording 3-2 (Mastering Room)

This is the second video in the third set for the operation of the Roland VS1880 Digital Recorder. This set deals with mixing down a song and the mastering room. There will be additional videos for this set after exploring things like marking the mixdown and recording a CD from mastered song sets.

other than a built in burner, are there any other diferences between the 1824 and 1880. like as far as editing parameters, eq, ect??

@bonusbmusic I have not had a chance to look at the 1824 but a friend of mine had one and he told me of one additional thing and that was di-essing, takes the hisses out of Ss. He also had the ability to hook a monitor and mouse which was a great help for not wearing out the buttons and for other people to see where you are at in the song. I am using a new mac with garage band and switching between the two. with the mac I have a 22 inch screen.

Can you do a video on how to upgrade the vs1680 midi files. I have the workstation upgrade disk. I want to update files 1-16midi files so I can operate the next external burner. I need to hook up to my computer and install the disk and run the update through a midi connection. Help
