Bigger doesn't always mean faster... Smaller engines have higher rpm's then lets say a .16 but it does suffer on low end torque. It is also alot lighter Anyway, this is a great car for anyone to get into the hobby.
I have owned the .16 and ran that for a while (until the piston seized) and I bought a .18 engine and it was know where as fast as the .16 but I did see an improvement in low to mid power.
I now have a HPI baja 5b ss and its one hell of an investment.
