PETA obtained video footage of employees' freezing baby mice and rats alive at a Petland store in Fairfax, Virginia. In the video, an employee takes live baby rats, or "pinkies," from their mother and places them in a freezer to die slow, painful deaths. I know this sounds bad, but i mean, how else can you kill the mice for the snakes, is it better just to feed them live? I know it's cruel and I don't like it, but i'd rather it be that than feed live to my snakes. :/

@Dead1iestJester Whether other pet stores practice things like this or not, the places that the animals come from are ALWAYS bad, so even if a pet store isn't mistreating their animals (as much as other pet stores) supporting them is supporting the horrible places they come from. People like me will never lay off.

The Peta and all of you people need to get off their backs. It's not the same thing with every store, whether its Petco, Petland, Petsmart, whatever. They aren't all full of Animal cruelty. I know that what they do in these videos are wrong, but what they did in this video wasn't actually cruelty. They feed those pinkies to the reptiles. I dont see any other way to kill them humanely! LAY OFF!!

Freezing animals has nothing to do with the "circle of life".....But let me guess your one of those people who REALLY doesn't give a shit about animals anyways. Somethings wrong with people, to be OK with torturing an animal who has no voice and no chance....sickening...No wonder people kill each other.
