  • good luck with the GCSE this is a fantastic dance I went to see the production of 'Still life at the penguins cafe' performed by the Birmingham Royal Ballet and my 10 year old niece Georgia Smart danced the part of the rain forest child. It was so wonderful to see her dance on stage, I am so proud of her. Hope you enjoy the dance and good luck with the exam.

  • i <3 this, i'm doing it in Dance GCSE.

  • doing this for my dance GCSE, freaking love this whole production !

  • @marlenejw1 the point is to show that the zebra is a beautiful and graceful creatures, the women in the zebra coats is to show how it is getting slaughtered to make fur:)

  • The most moving piece in the whole production, I feel.

  • The most moving piece in the whole production, I feel.

  • Haaaa I did this in GCSE dance 5/6 years ago

  • Or possibly the suggestion of human fashion is intentional? To highlight the way humankind uses anîmals for it's own purposes? Look beyond...

  • @marlenejw1 i dont think that is right. i don't think fashion was on there minds when choreographing this in1988.

  • Although beyond 'dance', definitely NOT innovative or by any stretch of the ;imagination representational of Nature. Found the 'black and white' ladies belonged more to the fashion scene. What is the point?
