China already owns a lot of share of Wal Mart and probably other big retailers too. They benefit from the financial crisis as competition weakens and general sluggishness in the economy enables them to buy American companies shares on the stock market. This way they sell Chinese goods and the profit goes to to the Chinese and trade deficit grows.
Different opinions exist but I can be sure that one thing is clear - it won´t benefit local business and diversity in the retail market.

I have a saying I use every now and then.

Made in China was Made In USA.

If you believe dirt is water and your throat is dry, you just might drink dirt.

I am surprised that those so-called "patriots" haven't revolted violently yet.
It would be terrible if that happened.
Politicians, bankers and big corporate figures...
Reminds me of what happened to Mussolini.

Sure, and you make reasonble points.
It's very perplexing to watch people go to walmart like sheep to the slaughter.
I'd love to see everyone working but when, one by one, manufacturing jobs disappear, sooner or later, people, with college degrees will be fighting for a burger flippin' job.
Speaking college, a lot of graduates are going to be shocked when they cannot find the job they trained for, and still owe a second mortgage for their education.
College = BIG business.

You should all be condemned to wearing a Walmart apron. Since China owns the U.S and Walmart, you should all bow down to your foreign masters.

ONLY 5000 stores. I wish they had 10,000 stores. So long as I can get my chicken cheap and my laundry detergent at a low price I'm happy. Wal-Mart is flippin' AWESOME!!!

i know i'm going to get alot of thumbs down for this but i like walmart.. I work there as a cashier and they treat me great, i have great benifits great managers and great hours.. anyways its like other ppl have said walmart isnt the only place that uses china in that way. Also i can bet anything that 85% of you ppl commenting this video have shopped at walmart in the last month and probably will again within the next month..
