A Red Bull can rotates and tips around. It becomes crushed, and eventually levitates upwards, then falls back down and lands. A pendulum clock and a digital clock run in the background.

  • Well, doesn't really look like stop motion, I think two videos were split and put together, one side for the clocks and one of the red bull can. I'm pretty convinced strings were used.

  • @ViperXXXXXXX The dollhouse is hanging upside down. There is a piece of steel glued into the bottom of the red bull can. I am using a strong magnet on the other side of the dollhouse floor. Occasionally I reach in and crush the Red Bull can a little. These parts are edited out of the video. I re-inserted the sound of crushing.

I took separate video of the clocks. I took the edited dollhouse video, and flipped upside down, then masked off the areas behind, and added the clock video behind.

  • LOL, that looks so ridiculous!!! The end is obviously a recording of the can falling and being played backwards.

  • Correct. This is a demonstration of the techniques used by John Hutchison.

  • @CollinAlexander NO it isn't u r a BAD video faker nothing more. and you discredit JH, what the F**K ever man. get a clue...........loser!

  • Again, your lighting sucks! The shadows don't match up..........and the can @ the end pleeez!

  • @ViperXXXXXXX I thought the same thing at first....the clock looks extreamly suspect. But having worked with video/film before.....And, honestly the movement is just too smooth, and natural. Plus the sounds coincide perfectly, and that would not happen with stop motion. it COULD be done...but it would have to be a professional stopmotion artist, and Foley guy for the soundFX....thats a lot of work for a YT video! LOL!

  • @frankensteinmoneymac - Thanks. But every time I see something like this I immediately think strings. One person watching with me thought it was stop motion. A simple double exposure camera trick for the clock would make this very convincing. But who knows.

  • @ViperXXXXXXX I dunno if I agree with ya...how would strings cause it to crush inward? Well......ok.......MAYBE.......if the strings were actually strung through holes, but attached to the opposite sides.....OH! OK! I see what you mean now...yeah that just might work! Thanks! At first I started writing why I thought you were wrong....but the more I thought about it, and re-read what you said.......I get it now! Good Explanation! Bravo!

  • @frankensteinmoneymac - Strings in holes in the can, being pulled in opposite directions. Explains funky movement and dents.

  • Dear god......over a thousand veiws...and NO ONE has said it yet??? Alright then...I guess I will have to be the first...Here is goes..."OH my GOD....Redbull really DOES HAVE WINGS!!!!!" LOL!!!! Sorry...but somone HAD to say it... I do have 1 serious question....I can think of a few ways to fake the movement...but how did U get the *crush* effect??? I know a strong enough EM pulse will do it..but I doubt U went to that kinda trouble...so, if ya wouldnt mind...how'd ya do it?
