انتخابات نمادین ایرانیان در کانادا

ایرانیان مقیم ونکوور در روز ۱۱ ژوئن از ساعت ۷ بعد از ظهر در مقابل آرت گالری دور هم جمع شدند و مراسم انتخابات نمادین بر پا کردند. یکی‌ از اصلی‌‌ترین دلایل برگذاری این مراسم رساندن پیغامی به دولت کانادا بود که اجازه برگذاری مراسم انتخابات را به ایرانیان نداد. هر چند که بار‌ها اعلام شده بود که هدف از این گرد همایی اعتراض به نداشتن صندوق است و جنبه تبلیغاتی برای هیچ یک از کاندید‌ها ندارد اما خیلی‌‌ها صرفاً به خاطره حمایت از نامزد مورد علاقه شون اومده بودند.
