We aim to travel west from La Gomera in the Canary Islands benefiting from the prevailing wind and currents to reach Antigua in the West Indies. We are friends from school and feel we want to challenge ourselves both mentally and physically on this challenge away from the professional world that we work in. This is something we are both hugely excited about and determined to achieve. As well as the achievement itself the aim of the voyage is to raise £ 60,000 for our chosen charities Brain Tumour UK and Shrewsbury House.
