One of my regrets is that I turned down being cast for the chorus in Pippin because I thought I should devote more time to making Art, the college subject I was teaching. As things turned out, I got so hooked on the show that I went to every performance for two weeks straight, and did very little art. Hope somebody out there learns from this and doesn't repeat my mistake.

To abo1121, my sincere thanks for your uploading these versions of a fantastic musical that needs professional performances and elaborate visuals to make it truly work. One request--I can't seem to find your posting of "I Guess I'll Miss the Man." The amateur versions on You Tube are painful to listen to, and this song deserves to be heard as it was meant to be.

This was one of the first shows where each person in the ensemble was treated as an individual. Fosse's concept is what MADE this show. And who was the costumer? So witty, so funny, and so sexy. Great... the sort of stuff that you ca only experience on a stage...live.

My school, Melbourne High School and its sister school Macrob Girls High performed this in my year 12. It is one of my most treasured experiences. I recall the thrill and emotion of performing with all those great young talented people. Thankfully this is one memory that will never die.
