Neat footage. They are feeding when the tail like that. Key is to get the fly (big nymph patterns, small wooly bugger or crawfish imitation are good patterns) down on the bottom near his feeding path (yes easier said then done), then give a little twitch when he gets close. You have to strike blind many times and watch for movement of the line.
I live off the reston national golfcourse and I like fishing in lake Thourough (sorry bad spelling) but I never catch anything any advise on the bait I should use??
Real cool footage. I think that carp was just feeding on the bottom, that's why his tail is wagging back and forth to keep his mouth down. They are kinda hard to get a take from when its close to spawning time or the end of it.
