@sweetsoulsista While this is not a Takarazuka stage but 3 ex-Takarazuka members play here (Utena, Saionji and Dios/Akio), the Takarazuka makeup is 1.stage makeup 2. makeup that will make the girls look more like men. And even though in video or photography is visible it is not that visible from the audience.

I don't get why the male characters in Takarazuka wear more makeup than the females :/

Porque es el estilo de un otro teatro (la Takarazuka Revue) que se utiliza en este teatro. En La Takarazuka Revue, todos de los personajes son actuaron por mujeres (ellas son fantasicas!!!). Yo no se porque los directores quise esto por Utena, pero es bastante bien.
