in most countries poppy seeds cant buy not available . and roasted chick peas if we could buy then we can make best than u this dish.need to show easy reciepe that if some one living there that he cant buy these products then what to do.

1. why you didnt fry the balls? so that it dont break while in cooker. 2. where were the cashew? without cashed currey, i cant imagine..2 out of 5

Yes you can fry the Kofta's. Frying builds a thin crust, however, that crust also does not allow some of the masala to seep in. I prefer that that koftas absorb the masala and the juices as much as possible.
