Michael's restored Hoover baby, making its debut after many MANY hours of work. This is the cleaners first run in many years. It seems to run fine, we just need to find the correct belt for it.
Also, yes it has a grey cord on it, it will eventually be outfitted with a proper cloth covered cord.
This turned out beautiful!

  • how many inches is the nozzel? very nice machine!!!

  • NNIIICEEE! :)

  • my model 35 is all original, and its been around for a long time. I rescued it from the trash, over in Elk Grove Village, on Woodcrest Lane. I no longer remember the exact date, but it was October of 1983, and I found it on a Sunday night...ahhh those were good days!

  • I did have to re-Paint the Handle Bolts White on mine and the Original White Bag Spring is a little stretched, but other then that, it's just like yours and I'll make a Video of it ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Oh and you got your Model 35 EXACTLY 1 Year after I was Born, in fact, my 26th Birthday is this Month, on the 30th... ;)

  • YAY, GREAT I just KNEW it was a 35, I mean, it's kinda HARD to miss that Color you know, lol! I LOVE my 35, but is yours the same as mine, in that although it looks like an early 60's Model, it has the two-Speed Switch on the opposite side, like the 70's Model's and the Original Cord doesn't say Hoover on the Plug, like the first few Years of the Convertible???? Mine is ALL Original as I'm sure yours is and I noticed those things about it, which seemed kinda strange to me, so...?

  • I'd love to see the before and after pics, Michael - they're always fun to compare!
