July 8, 2011 - Space Shuttle Atlantis will blast off today on its last mission (STS-135) to the ISS at 11:26 a.m. EDT from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This launch marks not only the end of Atlantis's career, but also the end of NASA's Space Shuttle program, which began in 1981.
