Depending on how old the kids was...i kno my lil girl would just get to excited and say hey he she to people and not even realize it, i think for like 4 months straight she called girls guys and guys girls, idk why and i corrected her every time but i think it was just something she didnt really realize she was wrong about....i would have just ignored them or if i did respond i would have said im a guy and my names brian, whats yours..

I would have done exactly what you did. When you ignore something you diminsh it's power. And honestly if you had done something even really nice it could have been spinned into harassment of a child. So only take on people that can honestly defend and understand what they do.

I think it would've surprised me. I'd have done what you did. I also don't know how he could've gotten "she" from you, You don't look female in any way to me...
Is"he/she" replacing the "that's so gay" insult? Maybe it's the new thing to call people...

I am around kids all day..and kids are kids but they are honest. What i would do (if time allowed) was ask the kid.. Whats a heshe? Bcuz i would really wanna know what gave him that impression, for my own personal knowledge. If it wasn't botherin me..i'd ignore it that first time..but if it happened again..i'd def. ask. One love 2 ya Sir!

Kept walking, realizing it's a child or I would have gone to his parents. Now, you take a chance of the parents being just as close minded but if you went to them, perhaps they would have taught their child something new and soemthing that needs to be taught. Question? Why would have given this child the impression you were a he/she?

Kids are amazing at reading cues that other people don't see, but if this kid was saying it quietly was it just to himself??? Is it possible that he was saying hi to you & your lady "he", "she" and didn't realize he was saying something offensive? I think ignoring it was the right thing to do, but if it happens again I like what "youcancallmethedude" suggested.
Wow.. I'm puzzled... Does he know you from a previous encounter? How old was he? Was he around other kids who may know someone who knows you? Not sure.. It would depend on their age and other circumstances. It's hard to ignore a comment like that when it catches you off guard.
I probably would ignore it since giving in to it would give him the power as in the comment above. I'm just curious about what prompted him to say what he said...

@MrFlyboi511 I just moved in to the neighborhood so nobody knows me here. As I said in the video, I didn't do or say anything to them.

I never planned on responding if that should happen again. It's none of their business.

At most id have said " nope I'm a 'he' , buddy" with a smile. I don't really see why anyone would read you as anything but male. I wonder if maybe the kid was just being silly and since it just so happens you are trans you read into it.

@youcancallmethedude I figured they were just being kids, that's why I didn't respond to them.
