@letsplaylatenight I would search for something like FRAPs or a Fraps alternative for Mac. Fraps is what most people who record these use. It's really easy to find a torrent of it if you can't pay for it, too.

Does anyone know a good free screen capture for a mac? I want to start making LP videos but I can't afford to spend 50 dollars on something I might eventually quit using. I downloaded a free one and it sucks. I hate it. and the quick time one doesn't really work for sims 3 it starts flipping out. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Im new at this whole sims thing and i actually ran across the game a few years ago because i am a HUGE animal person and my grandmother bought a game for me and i played it day and night and it got broken by one of my siblings and i still havent got a new one yet. i have alot of questions like how do you add expansoin packs to the base game that you can buy from walmart? and also how do you make videos like @Quxxn does?

Since you are able to run The Sims 3 in high detail on your computer, you could probably crank up the graphics settings for this game without slowing it down. It's a really pretty game so I just wanted to let you know in case you hadn't noticed the graphics were turned down.
