Sergei vs. Giovanna Scaldi (CoH)

Sergei, my Dark Melee/Super Reflexes scrapper in City of Heroes, beating an archvillain without using inspirations, temporary powers, veteran powers, base empowerment buffs or click accolades.

Half of the leader of the Carnival of Shadows, in a manner of speaking. She was tough, and she beat me five times. But after hours of plowing through the arc to get there, I wasn't about to give up. The problem was that Giovanna had non-positional attacks that she could pretty much hit me with at will. Fortunately, she also had a number of other attacks. So when she was using her other attacks, no problem. When she started using the non-positional ones, things got really dicey, and I died a lot. At least I finally got her.

At one point I tried a strategy of running when she went on non-positional streaks, but that didn't work so well either, and as a scrapper, I really hate dying from a shot to the back. So after that it was pretty much keep trying until I got lucky.
