i use the blade mostly for runs, though i round the corners of the razor blade to prevent them from digging in, then i alternate the blade from one side to the other, when it dulls down alittle, alternating seems to resharpen it this way. works great!

is a old tricks use i at lot when work on make art on human skin and ink..if you want this more handy make cutmark in rubber and place the racer in there..then u are rock,n roll all corner.S.

This is a brilliant tip!!! It can also be used to level the excess paint when touching up chips, but you must be gentle so that you don't remove the clear-coat around the area or pop the part you just repaired out!
For those who are having trouble understanding the dressing process, what you are doing is drawing the blade itself across the sandpaper, not the edges. This will cause the blade to "curl" backwards so that the microscopic cross section looks like this: J instead of this: |

How are you shaping the razor into a u shape? By just filing the two corners off?

Yep, he has been on trucks even when Stacey did the show, he did most of the paint on his vehicles and stuff
