Zimbabwean people who speak ndebele have no problems understanding zulu... they are essentially the exact same language, grammar, vocabulary etc the only slight differences are in pronounciation, like how americans say certain words different to the way english say it...thats it! whenever i travel to south africa all i speak is zulu/ndebele... the ndebele in zimbabwe are descendents okfmzilikazi who was shaka zulu's general.

@sosok247 hi bro because of migration that took place during the times of Mzilikazi and Lobengula and they settled in Zimbabwe that is why you find Ngunis in Zimbabwe. If you trace back where their ancestors are from you will find that most of them it goes back to South Africa. They mostly settled in KwaBulawayo were you will find Xhosa, Ndebeles and Zulus. I must say they are a lot of different tribes but the majority is Shona because that is originally their hme i pressume.

Nope Some zimbabwens Speak Shona and other,but most of them know how to speak it. Zulus are from South Africa (KWAZULU-NATAL) :)
