A nickel is worth almost 5 cents in copper. Like 4.9 cents. So if copper goes up a little more it might be time to start hoarding nickels! What do you guys think?

@democracyrules2000 I wish it made sense. As far as I know, the 99.99% pure is the purest form of silver in the world - including that which comes straight from the ground. Where are you getting 100% pure silver from?

@UponInfinity Pure silver means 100% silver. Once you mix another metal with it then it is no longer pure. I hope this makes sense. The same holds for gold.

@democracyrules2000 Do you own any pure silver? I have some silver maple leafs (four 9s pure) that are begining to tarnish where I have handled them. This is not something that can just be wiped away. They'll have to be dipped in a solution to remove it.
