Softcore silver porn, I tease you with some coins and I cover some important facts. Bullet points:

"Never clean or polish your coins! We don't care how dirty they are. It's a waste of time and effort on your part. You will surely ruin them or make them less valuable."

Silver sulfate is the principle product formed when silver turns dark colored (tarnishes). There is sulfur containing compounds in air, and most papers, so to prevent tarnish, one needs to prevent contact of the silvered item with air by storing it in an air tight, sulfur-free container

Gold does not rust or tarnish. if your gold jewelry has tarnish, it is because the other metals mixed in are tarnishing.

Proof sets can still have silver in the coins! The US Mint began reissuing the Silver US Proof Sets in 1992 and has continued to date with the popularity of the Statehood Quarter series.

mid-1942 to 1945, so-called "Wartime" 56% copper, 35% silver and 9% manganese

1943 steel cent, steel coated with zinc - due to war copper shortage. They tried other metals, including plastics!

Law says you can't melt pennies and dimes at this point. After govt stopped putting silver in coins, restriction no longer applied to melting them down.

Can only brig $5 of pennies/nickels across border. No law about melting coins from other nations.

Violators of these rules can be punished with a fine of up to $10,000, five years imprisonment, or both

During fiscal year cost 2007 was $0.0953 per nickel

  • A nickel is worth almost 5 cents in copper. Like 4.9 cents. So if copper goes up a little more it might be time to start hoarding nickels! What do you guys think?

  • Yea man! I recommend that in my video "Gresham's Law and how to beat inflation or deflation." Owning nickels/copper pennies is the safest bet out there, dollar goes up or down you preserve your wealth or even increase it.

  • use toothpaste and your fingers, doesnt harm them

  • Toothpaste, never thought of that. The coin dealer I know doesn't want me to clean my coins, he is the guy who will probably be buying my coins.

  • @democracyrules2000 I wish it made sense. As far as I know, the 99.99% pure is the purest form of silver in the world - including that which comes straight from the ground. Where are you getting 100% pure silver from?

  • @UponInfinity Pure silver means 100% silver. Once you mix another metal with it then it is no longer pure. I hope this makes sense. The same holds for gold.

  • @democracyrules2000 Do you own any pure silver? I have some silver maple leafs (four 9s pure) that are begining to tarnish where I have handled them. This is not something that can just be wiped away. They'll have to be dipped in a solution to remove it.

  • @UponInfinity Pure gold and pure silver do not tarnish. It is the copper that you mix with them that tarnish.

  • @democracyrules2000 pure silver will tarnish as it reacts to sulfur. It is a fairly long process, however and can be cleaned quite well with a chemical mixture made at home. Gold is the only metal that neither tarnishes nor rusts.

  • We need to build a coin smuggling tunnel underneath the border.

  • cocaine is a hell of a drug

  • I have to rewind this and watch it again slower...

  • You high
