2009 Porsche Boxster & 2009 Porsche Cayman. The chassis is the same and most of the sheetmetal is the same, but that hasn't stopped Porsche from presenting the otherwise greatly enhanced 2009 Cayman and Boxster as next-generation models. The Boxster's new 2.9-liter six-cylinder boxer engine delivers 255 horsepower, while the 3.4-liter version in the Boxster S -- with direct injection -- produces 310 hp. The Cayman and Cayman S get 10 additional horsepower on top of those numbers. Those figures work out to increases of 10 to 25 horsepower across the line. An even bigger highlight is the addition of Porsche's new PDK seven-speed dual-clutch transmission -- or Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe, if you prefer -- that we've already sampled with much delight in the newest 911. Sprints to 62 mph range from 4.9 to 5.9 seconds, and in these times Porsche also points out that the new models are even more efficient than the last, achieving impressive highway fuel up to 31.7 mpg. Other highlights include new front and rear styling, launch control, limited-slip differential and ceramic brakes, plus such frivolities as Bluetooth phone connectivity and iPod integration. Illuminati=reptilian kin aka jinn, naga, demons, dragons, vampires, bluebloods, Al Gore, Windsors, Rockefellars, Rothschilds etc who rule secret societies like Freemasonry. Their agenda: force toxic swine flu vaccines on many, cap n trade, internet 2, codex alimentarius, WW3 then a staging of an alien invasion to get a fascist world government with us chipped. You may be right but the boxster is a great car regardless of price ,it has a look and feel all its own in fact I'll bet there's many wealthy guys that would buy this even tho they can afford much more. What rich Farrari collector would not want a Dino in his collection?
Yes indeed. Boxster (&cayman) may be the "cheap" porsches but they are also better than the alternatives. Most people cant see a difference between Porsche models, since atleast here they are rare.
