Limerick Suicide Campaign - Life Is Worth Living (CAS)

Suicide effects many people in our society today. Campaign Against Suicide (C.A.S) was started in Limerick, Ireland to draw attention to the issue.

We believe that suicide is something that can and should be talked about more openly. We also believe that the pressure surrounding suicidal ideation may be reduced by talking in confidence to a trusted person about all the issues involved at that time and may help a person to avoid suicide.

We have produced a free CD which features interviews with people who have been affected by suicide called 'Life Is Worth Living'.

There are three interviews on it lasting 80 minutes in total. We hope that listening to these interviews will help you.

We are also advocating for a drop in centre to be opened in Limerick city centre for people who are suicidal.
