In this lesson we continue with learning how to tell time. It turns out there are some ways you might not have learned in school to tell time.

Enjoy!

  • What is Es la una en punto?

  • @SCZMJGclub

it's one o'clock on the dot

  • when do you use ''en punto? ''

  • @listener655 "en punto" is used when it's the actual hour.. 1:00 on the dot... or 2:00 on the dot.

  • how do you say I do something at a particular time?

E.g. I get up at seven in the morning.

    Is it ...

(me levanto a las siete de la manana) or

(me levanto a son las siete de la manana)

    or other?

  • @Barit0nist

    at [time] = a las

it's [time] = es la una / son las _____

Me levanto a las siete de la mañana.

  • Nice video, saying Son 15 para las 3 (2:45) is actually a language transfer from English to Spanish, you can tell the time that way if you are in Mexico, otherwise they will laugh at your face. But remember hispanic speakers will understand you anyway, but it is not correct.

  • @lukakiwi Isn't he? o.O

What's a pity. Students need teachers like him =D
