  • Trying to decide on an 8x8 750 avenger or 6x6 650 frontier like the 6x6 for smaller trails how does your 6x6 compare to your 8X8 in this kind of situation you just shown would it make it through

  • @rrstymiest A 6x6 would make it fine, but you wouldn't have much for gear with you. As for the tight trails, an 8x8 will make it through just about anything that a 6x6 will get through. JMO but whenever I went someplace with my 6x6 I usually ended up having to drag a trailer as well.

Whats your opinion of an Argo with suspension for where you like to ride?

  • @amphibdriver1 Not really sure, but I would like to try one. I suspect that you MIGHT have a width problem. I have to take my axle extensions off in the summer to make it down some trails. I have seen a Suspension Kit that does not seem to add much to the Argo width, but don't have any first hand exp with it.

  • how do you compare the conquest against the avenger tire size and motor are better ?

  • The Conquest will never be an Avenger, but with a few mods they can come close. Avenger tires are larger and more agressive, but pop off the bead easier, and don't swim well. The Avenger motor is reliable and powerfull, but harder to work on, and may have too much power.

Both are good machines, and have there place, but again, the Conquest will never be an Avenger. IMHO

  • You have some of the best trails to ride on if you own an amphib.

  • I amlooking for my first argo and I can get a conquest in the 2000-2004 for about $3000-$5000 depending what all comes with it. I have been thinking about holding out for the avenger so i can use rubber tracks..they just look to be a better product..your comment to much power..is that a bad thing? and do you know if it would be possible to modify the plastic tracks, being the redneck I am I have been thinking of a way to modify snowmobile tracks to mount on the plastic:) keep the vids coming

  • Great video, I'm a member of 6x6 world. This is why u need an Argo...

  • Wonderful ride - I felt as if I were right there. Thanks for showing us the great AATV trails you have. Looks like the dogs enjoyed it as much as you did!
