Lol, I took such tags from the first Geller's video listed on the search engine, some clip called " The Video Geller Does Not Want YOU to see ", posted by someone called " TheFriendlySkeptic ", sorry if that bothered you.
You have the honor untill you cant really go on with it, cuz you gotta find your sweet spot in both hands.
Such sweet spot is more know as the Flux Gradient, this is, a very precise location of the hand close to one of compass's poles, in the hand - pole, hand - side pattern.

Depending on hand's location respective to the pole, at that will be pretty difficult with a huge compass as the slamic-island-qible-like used by Geller on his Tv show.
Finding such flux gradient would be pretty hard, even with a biomagnetic chain, so a close to compass but shaky hand will fix everything without letting too much evidence about you had discretly moved the compass with your shaky hand making the whole arrangement tremble, like this: 4:33
