  • i like double yolker eggs

  • When the hens first start laying you get a lot more doubles and even some without a yolk and some with no shell, just yolk and white in the nest.

  • I get strange shaped eggs all the time, it's like the really big eggs get stuck half way out the bird for a while and the egg sets half at a time. The big egg in the video is like that, it has a bulge that rings around it and weighed almost 3 oz.

  • who had the bigger egg? ouch!

  • lol

  • I see life on the farm is kinda layed back!!! LOL. Cool stuff. Thanks!

  • its adorable! :-)) LOL

  • Yeah, me too when I was raising chickens.

Used to love to incubate them, as well as the geese, ducks, pheasants and other birds I had.

  • Nature is weird sometimes. Ya think maybe a chucker or quail got in there and humped that chicken? Remember that cartoon with the baby chicken hawk looking for a nice fat chicken? LOL...
