Simple plushie project! A good place to start for people who are interested in sewing :3

Pattern: http://malindachan.deviantart.com/art/Kuriboh-pattern-and-tutorial-142841736

I stitched pretty close to the edge when I made my plushies. If you need a thicker seam allowance, you might want to cut the pieces out a bit larger (the only problem with this though is that there's a chance that you won't be able to get all of the 6 body pieces cut out on that fur if you end up using the same stuff I used for mine).

Please don't ask me to make more tutorials like this for my cosplay work. I don't think I'd have the time to put one together (classes suck away my liiiiiife)

Also, no, I'm not selling these ^^ (that's why I made the tutorial, sillies! XD)
The ones I'm working on have plans ^^

  • aww i thought kuriboh's were filled with sunshine, cotten candy, hearts, and rainbows X3

  • lol XD

  • i hav a little question: couldn't you just sew the eyes and feet on before you sew the pieces of fur together? Or would that just make things impossibly hard? just wondering

  • things might not be aligned the way you want it if it's done that way. I think attaching them afterwords is the easier route.

  • malinda you're studin' animation or something like that right..how long its that takin' ya!! and its amanda always your roommate!?

  • well, I started college a semester later than planned, and it threw off my scheduling. I still have another year and a half to go. And yeah, she's always been my roomate, and we're going to stick together until graduation

  • JADENS POUTING NO FRIED SHRIMP NOOOO!!! also i heard your stomach and when i heard it my stomach growled XD

  • i saw yusei clothes in the background

  • I couldn't really see how you sewed on the eyes, and I don't know how to sew on a button. *Is a beginner* Also, I'm pretty sure my hand would be smaller or nearly the same size as yours, and I made a Kuriboh body that if I look straight down on it while it's in my palm (fingers stretched out), I can see my fingers. I wanted to make sure that it's about the right size. What are the dimensions for the fur that you use (width x length)? Mine is 9 x 12 in.

  • Props on the Black Cat poster

  • Trouble with Tribbles XD

  • Are those really tribbles?

  • Can you glue the eyes on

  • Can you BUY KURIBOHS

  • what is that vibrating in the back round!?!!

  • Definitely making some! Thanks so much for this tutorial :D!

The fur you use looks so great, it's nice and long. I haven't came across any that nice so far ><
