Ian 1989 For Absent Friends

This is a relic... never before seen. I shot video of myself way back in 1989 when I was 23 years old. I think my embarrassment factor was such that I never played this stuff for anybody. All these years later, I think it's kind of funny... you know, the 80's hair and all!!
This is a Genesis song off Nursery Cryme. Note my inability to NOT sing without the British accents!

In summer I made the mistake of trying to play my guitar adaptation of the Lamia at an open mic night to a bar full of slightly drunk Scots whilst on shrooms and weed. The resemblance to Genesis waned after the first chorus, and it turned into a sort avant-garde free jazz improv. Awesome channel man, I'm sure PG would approve!
