I'm heating my 2600 sf house here in New Hampshire, USA (one hour north of Boston) almost entirely with wood that was sustainably harvested from my 12 acre forest. It is about 10 degrees F outside right now and I am comfortable. I would be burning a 55 gallon drum of heating oil per week to get this otherwise.
