yea, it looks pretty likely that Chelsea will win it, even though we'll never know until January-February as that's when the African Cup of Nations will be held and many of Chelsea's key players will be absent. As a Liverpool fan I'm disappointed, but I've gotten used to waiting lol. I hope we can qualify for a Champions League berth, at least. And I really hope Man Utd don't win the league title this year, anyone but them...

I personally hope Arsenal win it and the CL, but Chelsea really impress me, they can play any style, even putting everyone behind the ball like vs barca last year they almost won, and they can be strong offensively as well, as their last 4 results or so show. Liverpool v Chelsea CL matches are always awesome, so I hope Liv qualify, i'm pretty sure they will. Aquilani is fit, so you can thankfully not rely on lucas, and torr/gerrard should be soon, and i don't know why babel isn't scoring...

If it's not gonna be Liverpool, I hope Arsenal win the league title. Wenger deserves it, he's probably one of the greatest managers in the history of football. If only they can keep Cesc, Arshavin and RvP fit.

I actually think Lucas is decent, but we need some creativity in the midfield and Aquilani can provide that (hopefully, I haven't seen much of him to be honest). And I never rated Babel. He seems unable to perform under any kind of pressure, which annoys me.

well he did practically seal the deal in the 2nd leg vs arsenal 2 yrs ago (by diving lol)- that was under pressure, also at 2-2 vs west ham not too long ago he set up torres i think, and he has tons of pace and can control the ball well, and he is still young. He has his moments, but i agree he hasn't shown consistency.
Kuyt is one of my favorite players though, he's everywhere, never stops working, and can do practically everything.

fair point about Babel...but he still hasn't convinced me. And Kuyt is one of my favourite players as well, even though he seems to play off-form at the moment. Kuyt's lack of form is one of the reasons why we're playing so terribly. Kuyt and Gerrard need to step up. Benayoun and Torres are carrying the team by themselves...I hope Aquilani turns out to be the missing piece, like Arshavin to Arsenal last season.
