I went to ITT for a tour, I'm 16, and the lady tried to get me to fill out student loan papers before the tour and I haven't even finished high school yet. I didn't even know what classes I wanted and she was like oh it's cool just fill out these forms and then you won't have to when you decide. Like wtf bitch you want me to get student loans 2 years before I even graduate high school? Obvious scam!!!!

@cradmoor i dont think he went into it to design for a company still in the 90's. ITT hasnt had one bad side. in fact i learned alot going on the closer i got to graduation. there school isnt worth the amount paid. and the teachers arnt certified. but what do i know.. i invested in a car and got a car frame with a peddle bike.

I was pretty luck, in that, the company I was working for at the time flipped the bill for roughly 75% of my tuition and books cost.

I do feel bad for people getting ripped off by these so-called institutes. I Got my degree in 'Media design'. And while I enjoyed the learning and academic experience, it served very little purpose getting me a job except for, perhaps, a jumping off point for a career in programming. After I graduated, I was tenacious in learning everything I could over how to program a computer using PHP and Javascript/jquery. Now I have experience on an enterprise-level project doing front-end programming.

the game design degree is a joke, 1st half is a shotgun of this and that while the 2nd half is writing a game design doc over and over. the program really needs to be that its get you started using the art, sound, project programs and coding for a base in the 1st year. then getting the writing part mixed into it with coding and advance programs. and lastly game engines, coding, and making a video game. itt tech only really give a 3rd of whats needed to get into the video game industry.

Even if the economy is in recession, it's better to have a REAL degree from a UNIVERSITY or community college than ITT it's a joke. Expensive, but a real degree says a lot more about you, like not being a sucker haha
