@towringer Last time I flew United to Hawaii we did get Leis when we got off the airplane, so I'm sure they still do.

@towringer Thats a good question, some of the smaller airports like Maui and others still have 'greating centres' thats what my aunt told me. You can usually get a leis.

Mu DC8 experience is flying a charter out of JFK to Schiphol and back in the '70s. Wish I remember the name.

The show was in 73, I think.
Dad took us there for a vacation in 74, UAL 747-100.

the red, white, and blue livery with United in italics was the best livery ever.
I flew on PH-DEK a -63 series DC-8 of KLM from London To Amsterdam .. years ago ... bliss :) Cool vid..
