Nothin' much prettier than a "Stretch DC-8"!

Actually two aircraft here; the airplane in the pattern & taxiing on the tarmac is wearing the 1966 delivery colours, most likely filmed in 1967, while the close-up shots of the aircraft on the ramp is wearing United's (Then) brand new '72 livery, as seen by the fatter red stripe, and "United" titles in italic.

A gorgeous airliner no matter how you slice it. :-)

@towringer Last time I flew United to Hawaii we did get Leis when we got off the airplane, so I'm sure they still do.

@towringer Thats a good question, some of the smaller airports like Maui and others still have 'greating centres' thats what my aunt told me. You can usually get a leis.

Mu DC8 experience is flying a charter out of JFK to Schiphol and back in the '70s. Wish I remember the name.
