Jewish Quarter in Venice

While in Venice, Italy, I took a trip into the old Jewish Quarter.

As I was leaving the square, they were inviting the men to put on a Tefelin and make a mitzvah for the safety of Israel. I'm not Jewish, so I couldn't partake in that honor. However, it turns out that I actually met one of them at the Israel Day Parade a few months back.
