Why is it so important to you folks to say Peter was not the first leader of the Church? From the Bible it is clear Peter is the leader of the apostles. The New Testament contains five different verses for the foundation of the Church (Matt. 16:18, 1 Cor. 3:11, Eph. 2:20, 1 Pet. 2:5–6, Rev. 21:14). When are you converting?

Church is gay house Paul is evil man bible says the earth is flat is hard to defense the bible.

@MysticalCity very very well explained... Mac is not in his bible though, so he naturally wouldn't believe the scripture. Protestants didn't like Mac, so they removed it. They believe what they CHOSE, not what is.

@catholicexodus bible doesnt say 'trinity' but christians believe in it. so why does the bible have to say 'purgatory' for someone to understand the meaning.

@catholicexodus we have anti-catholics because of false prophets like yourself. these anti-catholics, do not know their faith, if they did, they would never walk from it... check the statistics on how many anti-catholics find their way back to the church. they realise they are following false prophets, and not people of truth.

@catholicexodus in your confused opinion... sadly most protestants are confused. one day you willl know truth... until then you are in my prayers.

@catholicexodus Mark 3:16; John 1:42 – Jesus renames Simon "Kepha" in Aramaic which literally means "rock." This was an extraordinary thing for Jesus to do, because "rock" was not even a name in Jesus' time. Jesus did this, not to give Simon a strange name, but to identify his new status among the apostles. When God changes a person's name in The Bible it symbolizes leadership. Example, Abram, became Abraham(Father of nations) Jacob became Israel(ruling with God)
You are not worthy (as am I also not worthy) to undo the shoe latches of St Francis of Assisi who did not forsake the church but sought to unify it. What do you do? Jesus said let no man tear asunder what God has brought together. Do you unify or divide?

@DuncanDonuts3 A false unity is no unity at all. We are to be unified in the TRUTH.

ONE more thing... You all don't change the minds of Catholics, we believe our faith whether you like it or not, but we DO convert a lot of you, and we aren't even going door to door, people chose this faith.

@lace2u1 Many many thousands of people come out of the false Catholic Church. Half of John MacArthur's church are ex-catholics. Real Christians do NOT need statues to 'remind' us of God. He dwells within us and we fellowship with Him 24/7. As for the 'removed' books, they are rubbish (ever read 'Tobit'? pure garbage) and even if they were legitimate they prove nothing. 2 Mac is supposed to prove Purgatory? A book from the prophet-less period. No NT writer says a word about it.

so what do you believe in? i mean besides judgement? spending your time telling people the Roman Catholics are liars.
lace2u1 8 months ago
@lace2u1 Much of the New Testament is spent defending the SIMPLICITY of the gospel against a host of complicating errors. Repent of your sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ..when man starts adding to that, he falls into apostasy.
