Not much has lasted from the 1938 L&H feature comedy. But we found the building that served as the frame for the Veteran's Building -- and where Stan and Ollie are chased and fired at down the alleyway...
I just wish you would have gotten in there and made some real attempts to film right where they did, instead of across the street and such. For instance you show a scene where Oliver goes to get his car in the parking garage. I'm thinking okay he's going to show that very spot, but you never did. A couple of other scenes I thought you were leading up to show that very spot where they filmed the scene but it did not happen which was a bit of a disappointment. You did do a nice job at the end.

@3dwizzard
Actually, my father planted it when I was just 2. I got to toss dirt in, which makes me 108 and 109 on December 24th!
And if you want to see and smell something extremely interesting,... check out my underwear on EBAY... they are older than you are!!!

@kingarthurup So you're definitely more than 110 years older! That's interesting.

I wonder if that palm tree in the modern footage 1:40 is the same as the one at 1:54 when it was just a young 'un..??

Excellent, wish someone would pursue locations in Culver City , for Our Gang/Little Rascals. A dream of mine if I lived out there.
