  • @characteravatar I wondered too - my old school barely stayed afloat when we got a new principal - he overspent on renovation to make the school look better, cut end-of-year excursions and my least favourite thing of all, blocked Youtube for all the students and staff. Who does that when you have ADSL2+ and 1TB of quota?

  • @er10b Hahaha! Same at my school! Did you ever wonder if the teachers secretly congregated at evil teacher meetings during the school holidays to make up ways to ruin lunchtimes and general school experience? Because the methods between schools are scarily similar and adhered to...hmm :D

  • @characteravatar too right - at my old school too the teachers would carry around spare hats for kids who couldn't play - they were made to stay with the teacher - I would walk around with a random teacher every day - so it became a bit of an in-joke between me and the teacher - they'd see me and they'd say, 'No hat today?' and I'd just nod my head. I did have a hat on though.

  • @er10b No hat, No play were the four worst word a teacher could say to you lol...I still have the sun safe scars.

  • @characteravatar same with my old school 'no hat, no play' was the general rule.
