Tiger vs Lion. Another example of just how one sided this debate is 1930's, (like 1950's, Rome etc)

There isn't a time period when the lion has ever been considered a match to a tiger. Rome to 1950, the tiger always win, and the lion isn't considered a match at all in a fair fight. Another Example.

Rome to 1950 let's all say it together. "THE TIGER ALWAYS WIN". An it does. There are hundreds of fatal lion tiger fights not online, the tiger always wins. This a common fact, 1930's through 1959, this debate was huge, they staged fight after fight and filmed it, "fair fights", "the tiger always wins these fights. 1960 debate is over the American Public vouches for the tiger superioty. Like rome, the debate is closed, a lion is not a match to a male tiger in a fair fight.

You are the one that's stupid and biased. Have you ever wondered why it has remained such a tough question to answer for such a long time? Is a cheetah fighting a tiger a tough q? No. But lions and tigers are so closely matched that scientist,trainers.& zookeepers etc. have disagreed about the outcome forever. . To say "tigers" always win is a flat out lie.My guess is the outcome is 60/40 with either animal having the potential to beat the other. My opinion varies on who will win more often.

@silverback7634 yes you would....people can lift and push a lot more weight than a pitbull but an enraged pitbull would still maul the fuck out of a strong man.

a gorilla would get stomped by a tiger. a man is more intelligent than both put together but doesnt stand a chance vs an enraged large predator if he is unarmed in a fight

A gorilla would get raped by a big cat. Leopards, about 190 pounds, have been known to kill silverback gorillas weighing 400+ pounds. So, imagine what a tiger, weighing 600 pounds, would do to it.

Rather amusing, there have been some accounts of lions winning. Personally i hate cats, a Silverback in rage would rip the shit out of either. 1000psi bite, stronger than both cats, higher bone density, far more intelligent, can lift 1-2tonne above its head and and fling it like a toy(think of your small sedan). Silverbacks also have functional muscular strength, just like us humans, ask yourself, if you were 10 times stronger than the strongest man would you be scared of a cat.
