One of the greatest pieces of flying is credited to a Transat airbus pilot. Ran out of fuel over the atlantic and glided down to the Azores. None of the passengers knew there was a problem. Airline pilots associations gave the guy a real pat on the back evidently. Canadians make good pilots.

There was only one maintanance related accident at Air transat. Flying on empty. Don't worry mongloid, even if the plane glides, youl'l survive most lickely.

i'm in the same boat, flying them for the first time to gatwick... scared about their poor maintenance record, but otherwise i dont care about it being cramped.....

Apparently the seat pitch has now increased. There is a higher chance that you might get kicked to death by a donkey than having an incident while flying, Enjoy!!

What is Air Transat like to fly with? Sounds like a very unhappy baby crying in the background. Did this crying go on the whole flight? I am flying to Madrid with Transat this summer.

Thanks for your message. The airline is not one of the most luxurious in the world, I guess you get what you pay for. What I must say is pick your seat as most of them are rather cramped. I hope you enjoy your holiday in Madrid. The baby only screamed during the decent, or was it the passengers ;-)
